A leading organization in contemporary art seeks a Philanthropy Manager to develop individual giving strategies and secure donations. Ideal candidates will have experience in fundraising and strong communication skills. This role is offered on an 8-month contract.
The organisation, which champions new ideas in contemporary art since 1970, has presented pioneering exhibitions from emerging practitioners to internationally recognised artists for over fifty years. This role is offered on an 8-month contract.
The Philanthropy Manager will develop and implement individual giving strategies to support the organisation’s core artistic programs and strategic initiatives. The focus will be on securing and stewarding mid-to-high level gifts, cultivating relationships with individual donors and prospects.
Ideal candidates may have experience in philanthropy fundraising or expertise working with the HNWI community from other sectors. Strong written and organizational skills are essential, especially the ability to translate complex information into compelling narratives. Experience in strategy development as part of a team is also desirable.
