Job summary

Boots UK is offering a Trainee Dispenser role in-store across the UK. No previous experience is required, and full training will be provided while you complete your Dispenser NVQ2.

You will support the pharmacist and healthcare team, dispense prescriptions, and provide patient advice. Ongoing training and clear progression pathways are available to help you develop professionally within Boots UK.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training (NVQ2) program.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, endorsing, collection).
• Work with other healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations in-store and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence, including reliable repeats.
