Job summary

Boots is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join an in-store pharmacy team across the UK. No prior experience is required and full training will be provided to support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and giving patient advice.

You will train on the NVQ2 Dispenser programme, develop patient-care skills, and explore career progression including Pharmacy Technician training. The role requires UK work eligibility and a commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser NVQ2 programme.
• Current and valid UK right to work; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Complete training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines (ordering, labeling, endorsing, collection).
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients and refer queries to the Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
