Job summary

Boots is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to deliver patient-centred service, triage patients, and provide expert advice on medicines. You will coach the dispensary team, manage stock and oversee safe operations while upholding regulatory responsibilities.

The role offers development opportunities within Boots’ store network and potential progression towards leadership or Support Office roles. Applicants should be registered with the GPhC (or equivalent regulator) and possess strong communication

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Coaching and leading a dispensary team to deliver high standards of care.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Motivation to improve services for teams, customers and patients.
• Ability to use pharmacy systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
• Deliver services as per store needs.
• Lead and coach the pharmacy team to highest standards of care.
• Assist with triage of patients and distribute prescription materials.
• Ensure legal, safe and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Manage stock, workload, orders, and controlled drugs while safeguarding patients.
