Job summary

Boots UK is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to deliver patient-centred service in Amblecote. You will triage patients, provide expert technical advice on medicines, and coach the pharmacy team to uphold high standards of care.

You’ll work with a supportive pharmacist manager, have opportunities for checking qualification training, and develop through Boots’ career pathways. Training will be provided where needed, with a focus on patient safety, stock management, and effective use of pharmacy

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC).
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician desirable; training provided.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and products.
• Delivering store services and coaching the pharmacy team.
• Triage of patients and distribution of prescription handouts.
• Maintain legal, safe and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Stock replenishment, workload management and order fulfilment.
