Job summary

Truro & Penwith College seeks an experienced Registered Pharmacy Technician to lead the development of a new Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Programme in Cornwall. You will design, establish and launch a high-quality programme, focusing on curriculum content, resources and assessment strategies.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
• Experience in contemporary pharmacy practice and medicines management.
• Passionate about developing the next generation of pharmacy professionals.
• Skilled at building productive relationships with employers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communicator with strong organisational and IT skills.
• Experience mentoring, supervising, training or supporting learners in practice settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of the new Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Programme.
• Develop curriculum content, learning resources and assessment strategies.
• Build partnerships with NHS organisations, employers and external stakeholders.
• Support programme validation, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Promote the programme through employer engagement activities and recruitment events.
• Support apprentice recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
• Contribute to future delivery, teaching and assessment as the programme develops.
