Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is hiring a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Exeter to support safe medicines supply and work with pharmacists. The role offers Level 3 training and blended learning to qualify as a Pharmacy Technician.

You will gain hands-on experience in dispensing, patient advice, stock control and governance while progressing toward GPhC registration on successful completion. The apprenticeship can lead to full-time employment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired, but not essential
• Maths/English Level 2 required unless tested on entry for course suitability
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Commitment to complete the full apprenticeship program
• GPhC registration on successful completion is targeted

Responsibilities

• Manage, order, receive and supply medicines safely and accurately
• Provide person-centred advice to patients on prescriptions and OTC medicines
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations including stock control and governance
• Supervise and support pharmacy support staff as you progress
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff
• Maintain high quality through auditing and responding to feedback

Exeter, EX1 - We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Skills Required

• Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar.

As a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will support the safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines while working closely with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team. We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
Providing person‑centred advice to patients on prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback
Apprenticeship & qualification:
Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A‑level)
On successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Training delivered through a blended learning approach alongside your job
