Job summary

PETERBOROUGH, PE1 - I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role offers hands-on training toward a registered pharmacy technician, with supervision from licensed pharmacists and a clear progression path within the programme.

You will study Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, gain experience in dispensing, patient advice, stock management and governance, and have the opportunity to transfer to full-time employment

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and products safely and accurately.

• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new staff members.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing and feedback response.

Brief Description

PETERBOROUGH, PE1 - We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course. For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Skills Required

• Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar.

Apprenticeship & qualification:

• On successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Training delivered through a blended learning approach alongside your job
