Job summary

Exmouth, EX8 hosts a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice opportunity within a busy pharmacy team. This role is designed for progression toward a registered Pharmacy Technician, with hands-on experience and support to complete the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship.

You will work closely with pharmacists, handle medicines safely, and develop strong communication and customer service skills while pursuing a nationally recognised qualification.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths and English desirable but not essential; course support provided.
• Willingness to complete Maths/English tests if needed.
• Interest in pharmacy and healthcare with good patient-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, order, receive and supply medicines safely and accurately.
• Provide patient advice on prescriptions and OTC medicines.
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations including stock control.
• Supervise and support staff as you progress in the role.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Maintain high standards via auditing and feedback response.

Exmouth, EX8 - We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within pharmacy and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
• Providing person-centered advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback

Apprenticeship & qualification:

Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A-level)

On successful completion, you will be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
