Job summary

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Storekeeper/Clerk (Band 2) for Lincoln County Hospital. The role is permanent, full-time or part-time, at 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £25,272 per annum.

The position involves handling pharmaceutical goods, stock control, and ward supply across ULHT sites in Lincolnshire. The role requires clerical skills, basic pharmacy qualifications, and a commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• General Clerical Skills including keyboard & IT skills.
• NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services or willingness to work towards achieving it.
• GCSE grades A-C or equivalent in English, Maths and preferably a Science subject.
• ECDL or equivalent ICT qualification.

Responsibilities

• Receive pharmaceutical goods, unpack and inspect contents.
• Check deliveries against delivery notes and input into the pharmacy system.
• Maintain stock control procedures for safe and efficient movement of pharmaceuticals.
• Supply medicines to wards and departments via requisitions or direct supply.
• Conduct expiry date checks, stock takes, and returns as required.
