Job summary

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a detail-oriented pharmacy stock controller to manage receipt, check and storage of pharmaceutical goods across our hospital sites. You will verify deliveries, input data into the pharmacy system and support ward replenishment to ensure patient safety.

Key duties include stock control, expiry checks, stocktakes and returning damaged items to suppliers, supporting the trust's move towards collaborative group working within LCHG.

Responsibilities

• To receive pharmaceutical goods, unpack and inspect the integrity and quality of contents.
• To check all deliveries against delivery notes and input details into the pharmacy computer system.
• To demonstrate knowledge of stock control procedures to maintain an efficient stock control system.
• To assemble and return unwanted, damaged or incorrect deliveries to suppliers.
• To supply pharmaceuticals to wards, departments and other ULHT sites against requisition notes as a top up service or by direct supply.
• To conduct expiry date checks, stocktaking and stock returns as required.
