Job summary

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Support Worker Higher Level (Band 3) at Grantham Hospital. The role is part-time, 30 hours weekly, across 4 shifts plus a Saturday rota.

You will work in the dispensary and wards, support procurement, and handle prescriptions, invoicing and homecare coordination. NVQ2/3 in Pharmacy or equivalent is required with NHS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy or willingness to study towards it.
• 4 GCSEs or equivalent including English, Maths and a Science subject.
• Experience gained to NVQ3 or equivalent level.

Responsibilities

• Work in the dispensary, on the wards and support procurement.
• Ward top up, stock supply, reception duties and dispensing for in-patients.
• Receive prescriptions, raise receipts, dispense, certify and authorise invoices.
