Job summary

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Support Worker Higher Level (Band 3) at Grantham Hospital. The role is part-time, 30 hours per week, across a 4 x 7.5 hour pattern Monday to Friday with Saturday on a rota basis.

Salary is in the band range and the post is permanent. You will work in the dispensary and wards, supporting procurement, stock, and homecare duties, with NVQ2/3 in Pharmacy or equivalent, and computer skills to manage invoices and records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy or willingness to study towards this qualification.
• 4 GCSEs including English, Maths and a Science subject or equivalent.
• Experience in use of computer software and pharmacy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Dispenser: working in the dispensary, wards and Homecare team.
• Support procurement, stock supply and reception duties.
• Receive goods, dispense for in-patients, discharges and out-patients.
