Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Stores Stock Controller at Royal Derby Hospital. You will manage stock control duties to ensure smooth pharmacy operations for staff and patients, with training provided and a day shift.

The role involves daily stock reports, discrepancy reviews, monthly KSLOW reporting, and expiry date checks, contributing to safe, efficient pharmaceutical supply chains.

Qualifications

• GCSE English or Maths or equivalent level of experience
• Knowledge of pharmacy services
• Knowledge of stock control systems

Responsibilities

• Print and complete the daily stock report for Pharmacy Stores
• Review ad-hoc stock discrepancies on the stock investigation sheet
• Run the low use (KSLOW) report monthly for Stores
• Stock check Must Have and critical medicines daily
• Stock check consumables lines held in Stores
• Complete the daily abusable stock checks
• Check expiry dates and rotate stock in Stores
