Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset is seeking an Inventory Controller to manage day-to-day stock replenishment, ordering, receipt, storage and distribution across designated Trust areas. Using barcode technology and inventory systems, you will ensure timely access to supplies to support patient care at Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

The role is full time (37.5 hours) with occasional weekend and bank holiday working. Applicants should have CIPS or NVQ3 in supply chain, forklift training, CPD, and a valid

Qualifications

• CIPS certificate / NVQ level 3 in supply chain or equivalent training.
• Fork lift truck training.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock replenishment, ordering, receipt, storage and distribution across designated Trust areas.
• Maintain accurate records and optimise stock control using inventory systems and barcode technology.
