Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) is seeking a Pharmacy Stores Assistant to join our fast-paced stores team. Experience in pharmacy or logistics is essential, and full training will be provided to support your success.

Key duties include stock provision to wards, use of ward automation systems, accurate data entry, and processing medicines orders under the Wholesale dealers license. A proactive approach to stock control and adherence to SOPs is required.

Responsibilities

To participate in the provision of stock and non-stock items to wards and departments including topping up and medicines management duties.
To support the use of ward automation systems in the control of stock held at ward level.
To ensure data entry into pharmacy computer systems is accurate and timely.
To process orders for medicines under the terms of the site Wholesale dealers license in accordance with SOPs.
To carry out general stock management duties in all areas of the pharmacy including receipt of goods, transfers, stock counts, stock rotation and investigation of stock discrepancies.
