Job summary

University Hospitals Of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to support pharmaceutical purchasing, stock control and procurement across LGH, Leicester Royal Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital.

You will join a small team and work with wholesalers and manufacturers to provide a high quality service, while learning new technology to drive efficiency and improve stock management across the Trust's sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide a pharmaceutical purchasing, stock control and procurement service for the University Hospitals Of Leicester NHS Trust and TMP.
• Promote and maintain good working relationships with staff in all pharmacy departments across Leicester hospitals.
• Deal effectively with pharmacy staff and stock related problems, determining the issue and providing a satisfactory solution.
• Learn to use new technology to improve efficiencies in the provision of a high quality purchasing service.
