Job summary

Skills4Group is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Southampton to support the pharmacy team and customers while completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship. You will gain hands-on experience, learn through blended training, and contribute to safe, efficient service.

The role includes handling prescriptions under supervision, stock control, and delivering excellent customer care, with no prior pharmacy experience required and full training provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential, can be provided via the course.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and customer service at the counter.
• Support with prescription preparation and stock management under supervision.
• Operate pharmacy systems for prescriptions and sales with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness, health, safety and confidentiality standards.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
