Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy in Southampton is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will earn while you learn, completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

Key duties include helping customers at the medicines counter, assisting with prescriptions under supervision, handling stock and deliveries, and using pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English preferred, can be provided as part of the course.
If Maths/English Level 2 is missing, tests will determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
