Skills4Group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support the daily running of a community pharmacy and assist customers under supervision. You will work towards a recognised Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship and gain hands-on experience in a health‑care setting.

This role offers on‑the‑job training, with a blended learning approach, and potential to progress within a friendly pharmacy team. Start date 16/10/2026 in a busy environment across weekdays.

Qualifications

GCSEs in Maths and English are desired but not essential as part of the course.
Training provided: Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
No prior pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided.
Apprenticeship details: Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship; typically 15 months; blended learning with on‑the‑job delivery.

Responsibilities

Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records; use pharmacy systems for prescriptions and sales.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
