Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Southampton. You will support the day-to-day running of the community pharmacy, help customers, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

No previous pharmacy experience is required; the role offers blended learning, salary while training, and a pathway to a recognised qualification in healthcare.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (4-9) in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications; employment conditional on completing initial Maths/English tests.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the pharmacy and assist customers at the counter.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
