Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Southampton is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will learn on the job while working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with full training and support provided.

You will assist with counter service, prescriptions under supervision, stock control, and use pharmacy systems, gaining practical experience in healthcare, customer service and health promotion while studying.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English required or can be provided through the course.
• Good communication and customer service skills are important.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety, and confidentiality.
