Job summary

Skills4Group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team in the UK. You will support day-to-day operations while working towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. No prior pharmacy experience required; full training is provided.

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential.
Good communication and customer service skills are important.

Responsibilities

Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
