Job summary

Waterbeach, CB25 welcomes a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience and contributing to prescription counter services.

No prior pharmacy experience is required as full training is provided, with the chance to develop strong customer service skills in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

GCSEs in Maths and English desired, not essential as can be provided via course.
Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship will be completed alongside work.
No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
Support preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
