Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Waterbeach, CB25, is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice. You will join a busy community pharmacy team, earning while you learn and working toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. Start date 30/09/2026 and duration around 15 months with blended learning.

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English preferred or provided via the course.
Commitment to completing Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.
Good communication and customer service skills expected.

Responsibilities

Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
Support with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
Maintain cleanliness, health and safety and confidentiality.
Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
