Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Morecambe is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while assisting with everyday pharmacy tasks and customer service.

No previous pharmacy experience is required as full training is provided, and you will gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting while learning through blended learning.

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, Maths and English desired
For applicants without Maths/English Level 2, tests will determine suitability for the course
No previous pharmacy experience is required; full training provided

Responsibilities

Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries
Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision
Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records
Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
Maintain cleanliness, health & safety, and confidentiality
Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
