Job summary

Exmouth, EX8 – We are seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. Earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare setting and working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

No previous pharmacy experience is required; full training is provided. You will learn counter assistance, prescription processing under supervision, stock control and customer service as part of the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• This role is an apprenticeship; no prior pharmacy experience required.
• Full training will be provided for the Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.
• GCSE requirements or equivalent, particularly in Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Support with prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
