Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Bath is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while pursuing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Starting in October 2026, you will support daily operations, assist customers with prescriptions, and develop essential customer service and pharmacy system skills under supervision in a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired; can be provided as part of the course.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
