Job summary

Skills4 Pharmacy in Brighton is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. Earn while you learn and gain hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

You will support day-to-day running, complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support, and gain experience in customer service, stock handling and prescriptions under supervision.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired.
• Maths and English Level 2 tests may be required to determine suitability for the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety, and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
