Job summary

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior lead for the pharmacy stores service. You will oversee medicines distribution, work closely with pharmacy, ward and corporate teams, and champion safe, efficient supply across Trust sites.

You will develop skills in automated distribution systems (Omnicell) and play a central role in training users, improving stock management and reducing waste while supporting governance and staff development.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English, Maths and Science or equivalent.
• Pharmaceutical Services NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
• Previous hospital or busy supply chain experience.
• Experience with ARX (BD ROWA), Epic and/or Omnicell.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train pharmacy stores staff to ensure safe, timely medicines supply.
• Support day-to-day service delivery, governance and training across stores and automated systems.
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to performance reports and improvement plans.
• Assist with stock management, ward stock reviews and inventory control within GDP guidelines.
