Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant (Distribution) to join our team. The role involves supplying stock medicines and pharmacy-supplied items to wards and departments, receiving goods, and replenishing distribution stocks in the automated dispensing system.

You will process stock requests from wards using EPIC, generate picking lists, assemble and pack medicine orders, and ensure accurate delivery to the designated destinations, including a bulk IV fluids

Responsibilities

• Receive goods delivered to the pharmacy department and replenish stocks.
• Process stock requests from wards in EPIC and generate a picking list.
• Select items required and assemble medicine orders matching requests.
• Pack and address completed medicine orders for transportation to the correct destination.
• Provide bulk IV fluids top-up service to designated wards and departments; check stock levels.
