Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior lead for the pharmacy stores service. You will oversee medicines distribution, work closely with pharmacy, ward and corporate teams, and champion safe, efficient supply across Trust sites.
You will develop skills in automated distribution systems (Omnicell) and play a central role in training users, improving stock management and reducing waste while supporting governance and staff development.

As a senior member of the pharmacy stores team, you will be instrumental in delivering a safe, efficient and patient-centred medicines supply service across the Trust. You will be highly visible, acting as the face of the service, working closely with pharmacy, ward and corporate teams to ensure medicines reach patients at the right time, in the right place and in the right condition.
In addition to operational leadership, this role offers the chance to develop specialist skills in automated medicines distribution systems, including Omnicell and robotic dispensing, and to play a central role in training and supporting users across clinical areas. You will help drive improvements in stock management, reduce medicines waste, influence service change and support the development of a skilled and engaged workforce.

The post holder will play a key role in the operational delivery and continuous improvement of the Trusts medicines distribution service. Working closely with senior pharmacy colleagues, they will support daytoday service delivery, staff supervision, training and governance across pharmacy stores and automated medicines distribution systems.
