Job summary

Boots UK is hiring a Trainee Dispenser to train in our store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist, greet patients, dispense prescriptions, and learn pharmacy workflows while completing your NVQ2 dispenser training.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; you will work in-store across UK locations, with a focus on patient safety and service quality throughout your development.

Qualifications

• Ongoing training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Valid UK right to work; no sponsorship anticipated.
• Full training provided prior to independent dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Complete the NVQ2 dispenser training.
• Dispense prescriptions with safe handling of medicines.
• Assist in pharmacy services under supervision of Pharmacist.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and health.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safe and legal dispensing.
• Support patient adherence and medication management.
