Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to work in-store across the UK. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and ensure safe sale of medicines while you complete your Dispenser training (NVQ2).

Full training is provided and this role is based in-store in the UK. Remote applicants are not considered, and UK right-to-work evidence is required. DBS/PVG checks may be required after an offer.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, collection).
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and to refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Support patients to manage prescriptions with reliable repeats and reduced waste.
