Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, giving advice and helping patients with their medicines as you complete NVQ2 training.

This position is based in the UK, requires UK right-to-work, and does not offer visa sponsorship. Training and development are provided within the Boots store environment.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work; this role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store technologies and processes.
• Support patients in managing their prescriptions and adherence.
