Boots is hiring a Trainee Dispenser to support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in-store while completing the Dispenser NVQ2 training. The role focuses on greeting customers, dispensing prescriptions, and advising patients on medicines to promote health and wellbeing.

The position is based in-store in the UK with full training provided and no sponsorship. National eligibility rules apply for right to work and location constraints are noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
• Complete the Dispenser NVQ2 training programme to qualify as a Pharmacy Assistant.
• Current UK right to work; this role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescribe? dispense: ensure safe supply of medicines (ordering, labeling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions).
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and follow operational processes.
• Help patients manage their prescriptions and repeats to promote adherence and reduce waste.
