Job summary

Boots is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals while completing your Dispenser training (NVQ2).

This UK-based role is in-store; no prior experience required, and full training will be provided. You must have the right to work in the UK. You will learn dispensing, patient advice, and safe medicine handling to support day-to-day pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work; no Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines; refer queries to Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence.
