Job summary

Boots is seeking a Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in the UK. You will assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, advising patients and ensuring safe medicine supply within a store environment.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or be progressing towards an MPharm, with valid UK work rights. Community pharmacy experience is a bonus, with Boots offering staff benefits and career progression.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy qualification NVQ2 or working towards MPharm completed.
• UK right to work in the UK; not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Assist in management and delivery of pharmacy services with store healthcare team.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Help patients manage their prescriptions and adherence to reduce waste.

Education

NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor (or equivalent)

MPharm (first year completed)
