Boots UK is hiring a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will dispense prescriptions, greet customers, and provide medicines advice while supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals.

This role is based in a Boots store in the UK and requires NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or progress towards an MPharm with UK right to work. Training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or pursuing and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsabilités

• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, endorsing, collection).
• Work with the store's healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions with reliable repeats and reduce waste.
