Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team. You will dispense prescriptions, provide patient advice, and support the pharmacist in delivering safe medicines and healthcare services.

The role emphasizes patient care, accuracy, and compliance with SOPs, with opportunities to develop as a Pharmacy Technician or into leadership. This UK-based in-store role requires NVQ2 in Pharmacy Advisor (or current MPharm year 1) and valid UK right to work.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or in-progress MPharm (year 1) required.
• Current UK right to work; visa sponsorship not available.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and ensure safe medicine supply.
• Support pharmacist and store healthcare team in services.
• Provide medicines advice and refer complex queries to Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to dispense safely and legally.
• Help patients manage repeats and promote adherence.
