Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and ensuring safe and compliant delivery of medicines.

Role requires NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or progress toward MPharm; UK right to work is needed. In-store duties include patient interactions, repeats management, and contributing to a high standard of patient care.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Strong understanding of dispensing processes and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and safely.
• Endorse and collect prescriptions.
• Support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in pharmacy operations.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safe dispensing of medicines.
• Assist patients with medicines, adherence, and questions.
