Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services, including dispensing prescriptions and providing patient advice.

This in‑store role requires NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification (or progress towards MPharm) and a valid UK right to work. Prior community pharmacy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification or current MPharm study in progress.
• Current and valid UK right to work; sponsorship not available.
• Experience in dispensing medicines and patient care in community pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing and safe supply of medicines.
• Assist in management and delivery of pharmacy services with store healthcare team.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with procedures.
• Support patients to manage repeats and adherence.
