Job summary

Boots UK in the United Kingdom is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will assist the pharmacist and healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services, including dispensing prescriptions and advising patients on medicines.

You will build strong relationships with patients, support adherence, and follow SOPs to maintain safety and quality in dispensing.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or equivalent, or currently working towards and completing the first year of an MPharm.
• Current UK right to work; not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines and accurate labeling.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver in-store pharmacy services.
• Provide medicines advice and escalate queries to the Pharmacist as needed.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Support patients with repeat prescriptions and adherence to therapy.
