Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services.

You will greet customers, dispense prescriptions, advise on medicines, and help patients make informed health decisions. This role is in-store, UK-based, with training and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines including ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in-store to deliver and manage pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations in-store and comply with operating processes.
• Assist patients with repeats and medicine management to promote adherence and reduce waste.
