Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy teams across the UK. You will dispense prescriptions, support the pharmacist, and help patients with medicines and health advice, ensuring safe, compliant services.

You will work within the store's healthcare department, build relationships with customers, follow SOPs, and use new systems to improve safety and efficiency. Training and career development are available, including paths to Pharmacy Technician or store leadership.

Qualifications

• Completed NVQ2 pharmacy advisor or currently pursuing and completed year 1 of MPharm.
• Current UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection).
• Work with the store's healthcare professionals to assist in delivery of pharmacy services.
• Provide medicines advice and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations in store and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence to reduce waste.
