Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team across the UK. You will support the pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions, patient care, and medicines safety, helping customers manage their health with trusted advice.

Complete NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor or in progress towards MPharm, with valid UK right to work, and experience in community pharmacy is a plus. This in-store role offers career development and benefits.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labeling, dispensing, endorsing and collection).
• Work with the other healthcare professionals in your store to assist in the management and delivery of pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new innovations in store and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions with reliable repeats and promote adherence.
