Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in-store across UK locations. You will assist the pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions, patient counselling and safe medicine handling, within a supportive care-focused environment.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ2 or be pursuing an MPharm with year 1 completed, and hold the right to work in the UK. Community pharmacy experience is a plus; training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy would be great.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing and safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines.
• Follow SOPs to support safe dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with store innovations and comply with processes.
• Help patients manage prescriptions, repeats, and adherence.
