Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and helping manage medicines and repeats in a busy community setting.

This in-store role requires completing the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent) and current UK right to work. Training and development are provided, with progression opportunities to Pharmacy Technician or leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Completed Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent).
• Currently working towards first year of MPharm qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines and endorsing prescriptions.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence.

Education

Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 or equivalent

MPharm year 1 (in progress)
