Job summary

Boots UK is recruiting a Dispenser to join our store pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and help patients with medicines and health advice to enable informed health decisions.

You will follow SOPs to ensure safe, legal dispensing and contribute to patient safety and service quality. This in-store role requires NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor (or MPharm year 1) and valid UK right to work.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Assist patients with repeats and medication adherence to reduce waste.
