Boots UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient delivery of medicines and healthcare services.
You will build relationships with patients, dispense prescriptions, provide medicines advice and follow SOPs to maintain safety and compliance. There are opportunities to train as a Pharmacy Technician or progress in store leadership.
Qualifikationen
- Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or are currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
- Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
- Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.
Aufgaben
- Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
- Work with healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
- Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
- Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
- Keep up to date with innovations in store and comply with processes.
- Help patients manage prescriptions with repeats and adherence.
